Sagging
WPC Panels are basically polymeric materials and they keep tendency of flexibility. In larger span they can be sagged, if not provided with proper supports. A vertical support at a regular interval of 1.5 ft is recommended across the length. Use of glass or straightening bars can also be practiced.
Softening
Softening temperature of PVC is around 70 C, thus WPC made with PVC should be avoided for use in direct heat/fire areas having similar temperature range.
Painting
Painting and coating can be done like conventional wood and wood panels only. Surface should be roughened and PVC primer should be used before painting with stainers or PU or Duco paints.
